Why did we start using plastic bags?

图片
We started using plastic bags in the 80s because they were  cheaper than paper bags . Shoppers also liked plastic bags because they had handles, something paper bags didn't have at the time. Between the savings they offer grocery chains and the extra convenience they offer consumers, the choice is clear: plastic bags are the better choice!   What is the future for plastic bags? The COVID-19 pandemic has sparked a resurgence in plastic bag use. For cleanliness and convenience, businesses such as restaurants, pharmacies and meat markets will continue to use plastic bags. Reusable bags are great for a quick trip to the grocery store, but you probably won't see restaurants putting takeout orders in them anytime soon. For now, plastic bags still have a place in our daily lives! Ordering takeout and running to the drugstore just wouldn't be the same at all without plastic bags. They make our shopping trips both convenient and safe! We may not know exactly what the future holds fo

Who invented the plastic bag?

图片
Plastic bags have always seemed to be a part of our lives. From checking out at the grocery store to picking up a takeout order, we see them almost everywhere. Swedish engineer Sten Gustaf Thulin invented the   modern plastic bag   in 1965. Thulin officially brought the bag to the world after a packaging company he worked for brought it to market. Believe it or not, Thulin created the plastic bag to help protect the environment! At the time, paper bags were the bag of choice. This meant that a lot of trees were being cut down so that people could take items home from the store and throw the bags in the trash. thulin was determined to create an alternative that people could use over and over again. Thus, the plastic bag was born!

CPE gloves

图片
CPE gloves -- cast polyethylene gloves CPE gloves were invented for the food service and food processing industries.  It is a great alternative to vinyl or latex gloves.  CPE gloves offer many positive benefits -- most notably their durability. They also tend to be heavier than TPE gloves. Workers can use a pair of CPE gloves all day without breaking them. It fits the hand well. That's something PE gloves can't do.   TPE gloves -- a step up from CPE TPE gloves are an upgraded version of CPE gloves. The different materials and different manufacturing make it stronger than CPE gloves and even stronger than PVC gloves, close to nitrile.  The tensile strength can reach 3.6N and 500%  if the glove weight is above 3.0g. It is used by food factories.

The difference between PE gloves, CPE gloves and TPE gloves

图片
PE is short for polyethylene, and there are many types of PE gloves, including HDPE gloves, LDPE gloves, CPE gloves and TPE gloves. So what is the difference between them?   PE gloves -- LDPE and HDPE gloves PE gloves are the cheapest disposable plastic gloves on the market. The price is the main reason why it sells well. Both our HDPE and LDPE gloves are made of food grade plastic resin material.  It can come into direct contact with food. Why PE gloves are cheaper than CPE and TPE gloves? PE gloves can be blown very thin, so the price is better for customers. Fast food restaurants and eateries are the main users of PE gloves.

HDPE Plastic Bag

Garbage bags come in a variety of sizes such as size, color and thickness. Therefore, choosing can become a bit tricky. The following points will ease your choice and allow you to make the right choice. The type of trash to be collected: Garbage is any waste material that is discarded. The choice of garbage bags will depend on the type of trash to be placed inside. For example, if your facility generates sharp objects such as wood or glass, construction debris, or irregularly shaped items, then an LDPE trash can liner is always recommended. However, if your facility generates a lot of paper waste, such as paper towels or shredded paper, then it is best to use HDPE bin liners. LDPE bin liners are ideal for commercial kitchens, construction sites, garages, yards, and rolling trash cans. HDPE Plastic Bag Color: Garbage can bags are available in white or black. Most black bags are made from recycled materials, which makes them inexpensive. Black trash bags help keep trash discrete and can

Garbage Bag Buying Guide

As a   LDPE Plastic Bag   and   HDPE Plastic Bag   factory, I will share with you. Garbage bags, also known as garbage bags or can liners, are used to contain and carry garbage.  Like other plastic bags, garbage bags are also available in different sizes. Due to their different sizes, structures and uses, it becomes important to choose the right bag to meet the requirements of your application. HDPE Plastic Bag A brief introduction of different types of garbage bags: LDPE garbage bags are made of high quality resin. These bags are thick and can easily resist punctures and tears. The units of these bags are mils. If the mil number is higher, the thicker the bag is. Among them, 0.9 mils low-density polyethylene bags are suitable for kitchen waste, while 6.0 mils are suitable for construction waste and are used as contractor bags. HDPE garbage bags are manufactured by applying a low-pressure process to a high molecular density resin. This technique produces straight, tightly packed molecu

What determines the strength of a plastic bag?

图片
Not all plastic bags have the same strength capacity. The strongest type of plastic bag depends on how the plastic is manufactured. In fact, different types of plastic bags were developed just for their strength properties. The strongest plastic bags are made of HDPE or high-density polyethylene. Material changes that determine thickness and strength occur during the polymerization process.   The strength of plastic bags depends on the way ethylene reacts  during the polymerization process. To make polyethylene, small molecules of ethylene combine together to form a chain of molecules called a polymer. From this main chain, branches can begin to form. The more branches that are formed, the thinner and less dense the resulting polyethylene is. In order to make denser, stronger polyethylene, fewer branches must be formed. For example, if the polymer has a relatively straight main chain with few branches, it is called high-density polyethylene. HDPE is made of tightly packed molecules, wh
